Bermuda Beacon (August 1941-April 1943). Named by the personnel - Benjamin Schwartz (Bermuda Base Contractor) and Loring Cox (Main and Records section, U.S.E.D.). The monthly safety magazine created for the air base personnel, started in August 1941, focused on safety subjects, news and notes of interest for the entire air base personnel. It continued publication until April 1943, concluding with the end of major work on the Base, and the termination of the original construction contract. The publication was limited to a 700-copy print run.

Original copies may be available upon Closed Collection request via the Public Information Desk (upper floor).  There is a $25 retrieval fee for items retrieved from off-site storage.
